In the UK, even street artists are devoted to the royals.?
Pegasus is so excited about the engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that he sprayed the lovebirds on the back of a black van and then drove it across central London.?
The artist, who's based in London but was born in the U.S., pictured Markle and Harry during their stag and hen dos (bachelor and bachelorette parties), with the word "party" in big pink letters.?
The bride-to-be is dressed in a Madonna outfit while Harry is naked, holding a crown in front of his intimate parts. ?
"I wanted to give her a fun hen do outfit and 'Like a Virgin' dress with Boy Toy accessories felt like the right way to go," Pegasus told Mashable.?
Pegasus drove the van near iconic London landmarks such as Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square, before being stopped by police.?
“I think the van raised a few red flags,” Pegasus told the Evening Standard.?
“The police wanted to search inside the van so pulled us over. One asked, ‘what are you actually doing?’ I said I’m celebrating the announcement.
“They asked, ‘do you think it’s funny?’ and said don’t drive round this area.”
Pegasus told the Standard he's so obsessed with the royals that he's signed up for Google alerts for news. He reportedly started to plan the artwork one year ago.?
“It’s been a tough year,” he said. “Something like this is the thing we have all been waiting for.”
